Training Options
Membership
Membership of the South Moreton Boxing Club gives you unlimited access to the club during opening hours (7am – 9pm Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm Saturday and 10am – 4pm Sunday).
1-2-1 Sessions
A 1-2-1 session is just you and your boxing coach / personal trainer. These sessions are designed specifically around you and booked at a time of your convenience. Your coach will bring you along at the correct speed physically and technically to get the most from the experience, and gain the quickest results.
1-2-1 sessions are based mostly around using the focus pads with your coach, but also include learning to use all the equipment in the gym effectively and safely, i.e. heavy bag, uppercut and hook bag, floor-to-ceiling ball, speedball etc. There is also the option of sparring after your skills of defence, moving and punching are deemed up to a certain level of competence, and this is entered into in a very controlled way. Most 1-2-1 sessions will finish with some callisthenic groundwork exercises designed to tone and strengthen, and complement your boxing skills.
1-2-1 sessions can be booked between 6am and 9pm Monday to Friday and 7am and 3pm Saturday.
Squad Sessions
Squad sessions are run at fixed times during the week and are open to up to 6 people. These group sessions are a great way to keep up your skills and conditioning, but as they utilise nearly all the equipment and disciplines used in a 1-2-1 session, you will need to have reached a level of competence in 1-2-1 sessions before taking part.
Squad sessions can be compared to an intense boxing circuit class. You will be moved around all equipment in the gym, and there will always be variety to your training. We are lucky in South Moreton to have a very well equipped boxing club surrounded by some beautiful outdoor areas. So after some gym work you could find yourself outside doing sprint training, turning tractor tyres, using agility ladders, pulling sleds, throwing medicine balls or any number of outdoor activities designed to get the most out of your body.

Spin Classes
A fantastic Cardio Vascular and Fat Burning workout.

Saturday Sparring Club:
This is held every Saturday at 3pm and is open to all club members who wish to attend. The sparring club is designed to give you variety to your sparring by enabling you to spar against different ability levels and styles. The whole session is controlled and structured in such a way to give you a good workout, and improve your technique and skill.
Elite Sparring Club:
For the more advanced boxer, and people looking to take their boxing
to the competition level. Heavier sparring than the Saturday Sparring
club with advanced level instruction. Try 2 on 1 Sparring, Four
Corners of Hell and other diciplines designed to take it to the next
level. 8pm every Wednesday.
